| Description: | | | Hunan Institute of Technology, one of the key colleges in Hunan province, PRC, is located in Hengyang city, 9 hours from Hong Kong and 40 minutes' ride from the Nanyue Mountain, one of the five most famous mountains of China. In 2003, Hunan Building Materials College and Hunan University at Hengyang incorporated to organize Hunan Polytechnic University. The campus has a long history and a rich culture, now the new campus covering an area about 300 acres (three campuses), with over 600 full -time teachers and about 10,000 students. The teaching and living conditions here are perfect. The college began inviting foreign teachers 3 years ago.
What we want:
1. Nationality: Native English speakers from America, Britain or Australia and others;
2. Age: under 60;
3. At least with a bachelor degree;
4. Either male or female (couples are preferred);
5. Teaching experience is preferred;
6. Fit, energetic, enthusiastic, and responsible.
7. Able to sign for a one-year or ten-month contract£ºfrom 2004/8/25 to 2005/6/30;
8. Workload: 16 lessons a week (each lesson 45 minutes) of teaching plus extra-curricular activities;
9.Vacancy: Two positions
What we offer:
1. Monthly salary: 3000-4000
2.Free, full-furnished housing (about 60 m², two bed-rooms, living room, kitchen, toilet) with all necessary modern equipments (air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave oven, color TV, computer, washing machine, DVD player, and hot-water shower heater);
3. Free Internet access;
4. Free round airfare from your country to China (once a year);
5. Free local mobile phone and RMB60.00 Yuan phone fees per month (when the contract ends you have to return the mobile-phone to the college and pay for the exceeded telephone fees each month);
6. Free access to the college clinic only if the disease can be cured there, we provide personal accident insurance (we set the level) and same medical welfares of the college staff for you;
7. We will pay up to RMB180.00 Yuan per season for electricity and water for you (Any exceeding will be on yourself. Water and electricity price for you will be the same of the college staff).
