Introduction

To set up a communication platform for foreigners intending to work in China and institutions demanding foreigners, the 2^nd Yangtze Delta Job Fair for Foreign Culture & Education Experts and Foreign Teachers is to be held on April 26^th, 2008 in Dragon Hotel, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province.

The job fair is co-sponsored by China Association for International exchange of Personnel, The Information and Research Centre of State Administration of Foreign Expert Affairs of PR China, Zhejiang Provincial Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Foreign Experts, Jiangsu Provincial Bureau for Foreign Experts Affairs, the governmental departments in charge of foreign experts affairs like establishing regulations relating to foreign experts employment, granting work permit, etc.

There will be more than one hundred institutions from Yangtze Delta Area, including Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Shanghai, offering over one thousand various working positions. The local governmental departments are invited for regulations consultation.

The Job Fair targets those who are planning to get jobs as teachers and professionals in China or who already in China are considering occupation changes and their next career move. The sole purpose of the fair is to offer all participants a complete, clear, and direct platform through which they can meet their career goals, and provide a venue where employers can meet face to face with prospective employees.

General Requirement of Positions

1.  About qualification requirements

a. Demanding languages: English, French, German and Japanese

b. Native speaker or people with relative language education background

c. The bachelor¡¯ degree or above

d. Two or more than two years¡¯ working experience

e. Commitment and passion on the cause of education

f.  ESL, TESOL, TEFL certificate preferable

2.    About reference salary, subsidy and conditions

a. 40000RMB~70000RMB of the annual salary according to the difference of the degree and working experience

b. 5000RMB~10000RMB for international airfare fee and according to the length of the contract term

c.  1000RMB~2000RMB for traveling subsidy according to the length of the contract term

d. A free apartment with kitchen, bathroom and some living necessities like air-condition, TV, refrigerator, and internet. Every apartment with one foreign teacher only

e. An assistant available at your convenience

f.   An office sharing with other teachers
